Films by Women, for Everyone
FilmFest AAUW Redlands—a film screening of fun and interesting short works by women filmmakers will be held twice for the first time in 2026! You can choose to attend on Friday evening or Sunday Afternoon.
FilmFest Premier Evening Event with Reception
When: Friday, April 24, 2026 at 5:45 pm
Where: ESRI Cafe and Auditorium – 370 New York St, Redlands, CA 92373
Tickets: $55 + fee on Eventbrite for the Friday Evening Premier
The evening’s festivities begin at 5:45 p.m. in the ESRI Café with a reception featuring an extensive buffet of tasty hors d’oeuvres and desserts, beer provided by local Escape Brewery, selected wines and other flavored beverages (all included in your ticket price). AAUW Redlands will also hold a drawing for enticing opportunity baskets and original artwork.
From 7 to 9 pm, attendees will see short films that are funny, thought-provoking, artistic and inspiring in the Esri Auditorium.
FilmFest Encore Matinee with Film Discussion
When: Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 2:00 pm (Doors open at 1:30 pm)
Where: Finkelstein Performing Arts Center Auditorium at Crafton Hills College

Tickets: $25 General / $15 Students + fee on Eventbrite for Sunday Matinee
See the short films by women filmmakers spanning drama, documentary, comedy, and animation. After a brief break, guests can choose to stay for an audience discussion of the films at 4:00 pm guided by Heather King, Ph.D, English Dept Chair, University of Redlands.
Film Fest AAUW Redlands serves as a fundraiser for the Redlands AAUW Branch Mission Fund providing scholarships, STEM education and empowerment for local girls and women. Content is appropriate for age 13+.
