Films by Women, for Everyone

FilmFest provides an enjoyable evening of film, food, and fellowship, while showcasing women in the film industry and issues that impact women. 

Our evening begins with hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and desserts in the lovely Esri Cafe. We then move to the beautiful Esri Auditorium to view short films picked especially for your viewing pleasure.  Tickets are $50 per person. They can be purchased at an AAUW Branch meeting or online at Eventbrite for a small service fee. Buy tickets online on Eventbrite.

Schedule for the evening:
5:45 pm – Reception in the Esri Cafe
7:00 pm – Fil Viewing in the Esri Auditorium

This short-film festival serves as a fundraiser for the Redlands AAUW Branch Mission Fund providing scholarships, STEM education and empowerment for local girls and women. Content is appropriate for those over 13.

Why is this event no longer called Lunafest?  Lunafest was curated by the Clifbar company who makes LUNA bars.  They are no longer offering Lunafest to non-profit organizations. AAUW Redlands branch has decided to continued to put on our own event by arranging to show a engaging varied set of short films with the permission of the directors and producers. We are sure the films selected will live up to the quality you remember from Lunafest.
