Our branch is pleased to annually give Nancy Yowell Memorial Scholarships to local “re-entry women” — women who have had their higher education interrupted but have returned to earn their Associate’s Degrees, Bachelor’s Degrees, or Post Graduate Degrees.

Funds for the scholarships are raised through special projects, our annual Holiday Boutique, and donations.

“Local Scholarships” was renamed “Nancy Yowell Memorial Scholarships” in 2012 to honor an AAUW member who put her heart and soul into the organization and fundraising for these scholarships.
