Fall Bridge Scramble Was a Success!
The AAUW Fall Bridge Scramble raised $1760 for the AAUW Mission Fund!
Save the date: Thursday March 26th, 2026!
In 2026, we will be shifting the Bridge Scramble to a Spring event and hope to bring it to you annually in the spring going forward. We hope this will make it easier for more people to attend and enjoy this fun event. Look for more information in January 2026.
When: Our next scramble will be on March 26, 2026. Check-in will begin at 9:30 AM and play will start promptly at 10:00 AM.
Where: The Scramble will take place at the beautiful Dike’s Chapel, located at the First United Methodist Church, 1 E. Olive Ave, Redlands CA.
Parking: Parking is conveniently located on the south side of Olive Avenue, directly across the street from the church. Street parking is also available.
Play: 5 – 6 rounds of bridge, each round lasting approximately 25 minutes. There are two play options:
- Scramble: You will play with the same partner. After each round, you will move to a new table with a different opponents. You should sign up with your partner.
- Fixed Table: You can arrange a fixed table of 4 players. After each round, you will change partners within the table. All four players should register at the same time.
Cost: The cost is $50 per person.
Food: There will be beverages available in the morning, along with some light snacks. Baked items will be available for purchase. Lunch will be served at approximately 1:00. Prizes will be given during that time. The event should be over by 2:00. If you have mobility or dietary concerns, please let us know. That information can be added to the back of the registration form
Sales: To enhance our fundraising efforts baked goods and possibly other items will be available for sale.
Space is limited! The event is open to the public, so please invite your bridge playing friends. Due to space constraints, set-up and supply issues, and setting the rotations, walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
Turn in the registration form at a branch meeting, or by mail, including a check made payable to AAUW Redlands with Bridge Scramble in the memo line.
