Fall Bridge Scramble – October 22, 2025

The AAUW Fall fundraiser is a Bridge Scramble to raise money for the AAUW Mission Fund.    

When:  The Scramble will be on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.  Check-in will begin at 9:30 AM and play will start promptly at 10:00 AM. 

Where:  The Scramble will take place at the beautiful Dike’s Chapel, located at the First United Methodist Church, 1 E. Olive Ave, Redlands CA. 

Parking:  Parking is conveniently located on the south side of Olive Avenue, directly across the street from the church.  Street parking is also available. 

Sign-ups:  Players MUST sign-up with a partner.  Partners will not change  during play. 

Play:  There will be 5 – 6 rounds of bridge, each round lasting approximately 25 minutes. Teams have the option to scramble and meet new bridge opponents as well as friends and familiar bridge players.  OR:  You can arrange a fixed table of 4 players.  All 4 at the fixed table need to be on the same sign-up sheet.   

Cost:  The cost is $50 per person or $100 for a pair.  A fixed table of 4 players would be $200. 

Food:  There will be light snacks and beverages available in the morning and a lunch will be served at approximately 1:00.  Prizes will be given during that time.  The event should be over by 2:00.  If you have mobility or dietary concerns, please let us know.  That information can be added to the back of the registration form.   

Sales:  To enhance our fundraising efforts baked goods and possibly other items will be available for sale.   

Space is limited!   The event is open to the public, so please invite your bridge playing friends.  Due to space constraints, set-up and supply issues, and setting the rotations, walk-ins cannot be accommodated.  

Turn in the registration form at a branch meeting, or by mail, including a check made payable to AAUW Redlands with Bridge Scramble in the memo line. Or if you prefer, you can pay with a credit card for a slight fee. Click here for on-line payment when you register
